Chef Corso’s Favorite Things – Holiday Edition
The Elite 8 – the best items around
by Chef Corso
Here we go folks! Some of my favorite things at this point in time. I use all of these products consistently and trust in Corso to know that these are great, they work and you need them in your life.
1. MONTyBOCA Packing Totes
Perfect for packing up a recipe, spices, utensils or your sox.
Handmade in Seattle, WA.
2. Arcade Belts
I pretty much only wear this belt now. They have a bunch of great colors and styles for men and women. Simple design that somehow stays in place.
3. A.G. Russell Campy Chef’s Knife
The only knife I use for cooking on the trail. The best part, no sheath.
Foldable and compact.
4. Camaraderie Cellars- Storm King Red Camping Pouch
2 bottle equivalent. Stays fresh for a couple weeks after opening. Medium bodied red blend made is small batches at one of the best artisan wineries in Washington State.
5. Bavarian Meats Landjaegers
Most meat sticks are terrible. They give you heart burn and leave your belly in knots. I rarely ate meat sticks before but I always pack these for a trek. Produced in Washington State.
6. Colored Shoe Laces
why not jazz up your boots for those 2020 treks?
7. Everything Bagel Spice
Seriously, you need this. Amazing on your Avo-toast, rice bowl or on top of a salad. I didn’t think I would be so excited about a mixture of random dry ingredients, but here we are. Really tasty.
8. Patagonia Mens Performance Twill Jeans (multiple colors)
These are a great pant for just about everything, even short day hikes. And if they break, send them back to Patagonia for no cost and they will try and fix them.
Get out there and happy holidays!
